What is the difference between CC and CV LED dimmers?
Constant current (CC) dimmers drive LEDs at a fixed current such as 350 mA or 500 mA. Constant voltage (CV) dimmers drive LED strips and modules made for a fixed voltage such as 12 V or 24 V. Choose the type your LEDs are made for.
What does DT6 mean?
DT6 is the DALI device type for LED control gear. A DT6 dimmer is addressed and dimmed like any DALI LED driver.
Does a DALI line need its own power supply?
Yes. Every DALI line needs a DALI bus power supply, either a separate unit or one built into a gateway or controller. Check that the total current of the supplies on a line stays within the DALI limit.
